guinea pig wearing pirate hatArr, ye scurvy dogs, it be Talk Like A Pirate Day! Set back, we’ll be keelhaulin’ the politicians and the bankers momentarily.

Not that much actually happened on Monday, though. I found a huge mess of data in the master DB that isn’t being used and doesn’t need to be there, so getting rid of that was probably a very good thing.

I was finally able to get signed up for an account with the people who bought my mortgage. However, the bastards at Green Tree Servicing have the unmitigated gall to charge a $12 “convenience fee” for making an electronic payment. The only thing I can think of is that they want people to mail in payments, so they can claim the payments were delayed in the mail, and then charge those people a late fee. Bank of America, despite being a bunch of evil slimeballs, never charged me a penny for making electronic payments. I don’t really know the full story here, but what I do know so far doesn’t sound all that good. We’ll see. Verdict right now is “Hope that Green Tree Servicing doesn’t buy your mortgage.”
