black bunny with ears in 'airplane' patternFriday had a bunch of relatively ordinary work stuff. Went out to lunch, got pizza, helped another guy with a bunch of UPDATE statements in a new tool he’s building. And then Stephanie took me out to dinner, which was kind of nice. Moira meowed a lot.

Saturday, I had a plan: I’d go get some kangaroo meat, so I could make marsupial enchiladas. This didn’t work. The closest AJ’s had ostrich, quail, duck, veal, goose, buffalo, squab, and venison, but no kangaroo. This was sort of annoying. Oh well. Maybe later. I wonder if making enchiladas out of ostrich or venison would be an acceptable substitute?

While driving home from the ill-fated kangaroo meat buying attempt, I saw a car with the license plate “NARSIL”.  I wonder if that car had been broken while fighting the forces of evil. . . .
