Monday had an unusual number of stupid things happening with various computer systems. Most of these things had no real bearing on anything that was actually important, but I had to fix them or try to fix them. And then, of course, we found out that the deal we were offering on another site was not actually valid, so we had to take it down and go through nerve-wracking problems trying to find something else to put up. And, of course, all the mail that we’d sent out earlier this morning was describing something that we weren’t offering. Bleah. At least I was able to get a recalcitrant older box to see its CD-ROM drive, which made it possible to re-OS the darn thing.
What else. . . not really that much. On Wednesday, I have to call the local courthouse and see if I have to report for jury duty. That could be interesting, or it could be a complete waste of time. The last time I had to report to a courthouse for jury duty, it wasted half of my day to no real purpose, since I was never called for voir dire.
