Well, the Suns lost game 6 of the finals, so basketball is over for the town for the year. Sigh.
At least on Saturday, Stephanie and I got to eat at Essence Bakery, a nice little French cafĂ© that was really, really crowded. I think about half the people in line were waiting to get take-out, though, so it didn’t take that long for us to get a table and get food. Then it was time to go grocery shopping and do laundry, which were kind of boring but necessary.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI was really hoping the suns would win, to the point where I watched my first quarter of basketball, ever, like in my whole life. The last quarter.
I just think it’d be hysterical if during all these boycotts, all of our sports teams went to playoff games. Not to make any kind of political statement at all, I just like anarchy. Wait, is that a political statement?
Anarchy as a political statement? It sort of works. Trouble is that anarchy is fundamentally unstable and tends to devolve into “people with the most guns tell everybody else what to do”.
Most people hoped the Suns won. It was not to be, possibly because the Lakers have more money.
