Here’s a swan at the Phoenix Zoo sitting pretty.
Wednesday didn’t actually have a lot going on. I went to Bass Pro Shop and bought another handgun, a Taurus 24/7 Pro in .45 ACP. I’ve been wanting something like that for a while. Now that I’ve got it, I’ll have to see how it performs on the range. It’s a bit lighter than Jason’s Norinco .45, but it should work well if the tests I did on are accurate. The pistol had quite a bit of shipping grease in it, much more grease than was in any of the other firearms I bought. No biggie, following the directions on field-stripping it and cleaning it got rid of all the crud.
The only real problem that I had was that there was no .45 ACP ammo to be had in most of the stores I checked. Well, win some, lose some.
