coffee cat has run out of buzzLast night, I was too tired to write an entry. And this morning, I spent more time trying to figure out a way to make the VM I’m running this site on stop crashing at inopportune times than writing anything. But this might work. So.

Tuesday, Mom was still feeling sick. So we didn’t do that much. I found out that the power supply in my desktop was the source of all the horrible noise my desktop’s been making every so often for the last month or so, which meant that I had to go get a replacement. And then install it. That took up a hour or so. Then we went out to get some supplies for dinner, since lasagna was off the menu. Then we all cooked dinner and ate it, then watched some of the local news on TV and heard about a bad accident on I-10 near Casa Grande.

Mom wasn’t feeling well enough to go to trivia. So I brought Dad. We had all the core group and a ton of other people including Mike, Dave, some of Kelli’s relatives, and 2 people that Dave knew who I’d never seen before. There were enough of us that we split into 3 teams to compete. The questions were a little easier than usual. The team I was on tied for first, thanks to Dad’s knowledge of random boxing trivia, my knowing semi-obscure facts about “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, a lucky guess on a football question, and Sarah taking detailled notes on the movie clip question. Yay, or something.

The Clandestine Plan for the great holiday dinner is apparently off. I don’t know what’s going on there, but it’s really not my problem. Dave has a license to practice dentistry now, which is either good or scary, depending. (It is because of Dave that we know about “Shark Attack 3: Megalodon”, one of the worst movies ever.) Spencer and Patty have made Christmas cards that show all of their cats wearing various Santa costumes. Most people are planning various quiet Christmas celebration things with immediate family.

Theoretically, we’re going to the zoo today. It’s sort of cold, but what the heck.
