Monday. Blah. Had to go back to work. Well, it could’ve been a lot worse. Dealt with a bunch of relatively normal things that had piled up over the last week, then right before I left, I heard that they wanted to find out the way a particular web page looked in 2002, so they could defend themselves against some sort of accusation of copyright violation.

cat facing eagle, caption 'Somehow, I don't think you thought your cunning plan all the way through' Really. Considering the nature of HTML, I wouldn’t even think it’d be possible to sue someone over the similarity of one web page to another. But then, lawyers are involved, and money is involved, and when you combine those things, you get people who do stupid things in an attempt to make money fast!!1!. Pretty disgusting when you get down to it. Ah well, this means I have a project to work on on Tuesday.

Also went to the library, turned in old books, and got new books. They’re in the process of reorganizing their book collections. The nonfiction section looks really weird with about 1/3 of its shelves totally empty and the rest of its shelves packed to the gills. They haven’t started reorganizing the fiction section yet. It might be difficult to find stuff there when they do, but what the heck.

It’s Cinco de Mayo on Tuesday. I wonder whether trivia night at the pub will be full of rowdy partiers or just the regular crowd. Guess I’ll find out.
