Recursion is important in programming. It’s when it happens in real life that you have to be careful.
I really didn’t do that much on Wednesday. Read a number of OMG PANIC reports from the media about the swine flu, and read a larger number of “Nothing to worry about” comments from people who were working in hospitals. Got groceries. Did laundry. Finished reading Cyteen—I thought the ending was a bit disappointing. Went over to Steve’s, had dinner, and played some Rock Band, where I must’ve strained my voice as I couldn’t hit the high notes any more after singing a few songs on Hard. This is what I get for not singing for a week or two. And I also left my oldest Swiss Army Knife at Steve’s. Sigh. Oh well, I can pick it up next week. . . .
