Curious pig is curious. And wants to know if you have any carrots, hay, apples, or grass.

Went to Steve’s last night. Had good chicken parmagiana, then dealt with MTAs, the OSI 7-layer-burrito networking model, and an old laptop with a PCMCIA 802.11 card that had no native kernel module. That meant we had to search for .debs on a machine with a working network card, then transfer those .debs to a USB key, then transfer the data on the USB key to the old laptop. It was a bit less elegant than I would’ve liked, but it all worked. It’s amazing that a 500 MHz laptop with only 192M of RAM can still do a bunch of things, including running KDE 3.5 and Firefox 2.

More stuff happened, but I just don’t have a lot of time to write right now.
