I was apparently going for a cow theme and messed it up by posting a hamster picture yesterday. So, have another picture that has cattle in it.

Not quite through Yellow yet. An interesting quote from it:

If the racial profile is highly negative and widely accepted, then individuals who are affected by it should follow its model. This should be obvious, but it isn’t. When you treat people like $FOO, they tend to act like $FOO. Another statistic that may surprise some people is that Asian-Americans tend to marry white people at a higher rate than black or hispanic people marry white people. Frank Wu has a number of explanations for this, but I don’t know which ones are valid and which ones aren’t. The truth may be impossible to find.

Not a lot else to report. Well, at work, a user wondered why half of a page wasn’t showing up. Turned out there was a spurious “begin comment” (“<!–”) tag halfway through the page, so that was reasonably easy to find and fix. Thursday is one of the days where I don’t have anything going on after work, so I got to go directly home and listen to Fuzzball meow insistently.
